A curious mix of Stapledon’s Last and First Men with a dash of Starship Troopers, I can see how this is now fodder for a feature film (doubly so now that Interstellar has happened). Playing around with relativity is always fun and in this case it simply takes the cake. The beauty is that it also highlights social problems, love, gender and the nature of war itself. The only drawback might be that its tale is maybe a bit too clinical, but one could say that’s just conditioning. 😉
Enjoyed it! Hopefully the other instalments are just as good.
